LORI FERRELL, Chair
As a former member of Deacons and Youth Ministry, and with years of other service, LORI FERRELL has found many ways to make life better for those around her, both here and abroad. She served as a missionary in Southeast Asia with her husband, Peter, and their two sons, who are now actively involved in the church’s Youth Program. Lori is a trained spiritual director. As a spiritual director she holds safe space to listen to others, helping them notice and attend to God's presence in their life. She enjoys listening prayerfully and accompanying others in their spiritual journey. Lori, who joined the church in 2014, has led two CCOVB women's retreats and will lead another next year. She also taught yoga during Advent in the church and has been active in Bible studies.
MATT CLEARY
MATT CLEARY is always on the move, often helping others. He is a former deacon, head usher, and active adult leader on many Summer Youth Mission Trips. He is a current member of the Chancel Choir, former member of the Fellowship Ministry, past member and chair of Youth Ministry. Matt has been a CCOVB delegate to the Florida Conference UCC annual meetings. A member since 2009, He has attended or volunteered in virtually every, musical, cultural, educational, interfaith or other special worship service of the church. Matt is a retired owner of two restaurants and retired from a second career as a restaurant industry consultant. He has an extensive 23-year lay leadership history in his former UCC church in Philadelphia.
TOM RICHARDS
TOM RICHARDS is a contemplative soul who is always willing to share his many spiritual gifts in the church. A member of the Chancel Choir, Tom has also served on many ministries over the years including Missions, Deacons, and Church Council at large. He and his wife Sharon joined the church in 1998. He served on the 2006 Building Committee for the new Community Hall. Tom is serving his second term on the Trustees. He has participated in many church activities, including retreats, Bible studies, and seasonal children's festivals. He serves side by side with other CCOVB members at Habitat for Humanity and Crossover Mission. An electrical engineer by training, he worked in utilities systems including 22 years as director of electric and gas utilities for the City of Fort Pierce and three years as director of electric utility for the City of Vero Beach.
Donna Wilt
DONNA WILT is currently the Mission Ministry co-chair. She helps prepare food and serve meals in the CCOVB lunch program for the homeless and hungry at the Salvation Army and has helped out in the Wednesday supper and Adult Education program. She has been a delegate representing our church at the Florida UCC annual meeting. In addition to Sunday morning services, she attends Jazz Vespers and attended a fall family retreat. Donna joined the church in 2012. She is a rational decision-maker and will affirm confidentiality. Caring for our neighbors and the community, with dignity and respect, is a priority for Donna. She is a professional pilot, active flight instructor, and retired college professor of aeronautics. Donna and her husband own two airplanes that they fly frequently.
