GOOD FRIDAY STABAT MATER AND REQUIEM

Friday, April 19th at 7:00 p.m.

Francis Poulenc’s Stabat Mater was written in response to the death of his dear friend, painter Christian Jacques Bérard. Fauré’s Requiem is one of the most regularly performed works of the French repertoire. Gabriel Fauré composed the piece with a focus on peace, eternal rest, and consolation.
The preformance will be feature choir, soprano, Rachel Carter, orchestra, and will be conducted by Andrew Galuska.
